Why can I not buy directly from this site?
We list on Amazon, Walmart and eBay instead of running our own checkout. You get the delivery speed, payment methods and return process you already have an account for, and we spend our time on the tools rather than on logistics.
Is the product identical on every marketplace?
Yes. Same batch, same specification, same warranty. Prices can differ because each retailer sets its own, and eBay listings sometimes include open-box stock which is clearly marked in the listing title.
How do I keep the edge sharp?
Hone before each session and take the knife to a 1000 grit stone when honing stops restoring the bite — for most home cooks that is every three to six months. Never put a Kerf knife in the dishwasher; the detergent is abrasive and the rack will chip the edge.
Can the end-grain board go in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash with warm water and mild soap, stand it on edge to dry, and re-oil when the surface starts to look dry rather than on a schedule. A soaked board is a warped board.
Do you ship internationally?
Availability depends on the marketplace. Amazon carries the full range in the US, UK and EU; Walmart is US only; eBay listings vary by seller location and each listing states where it ships.
What if a tool arrives damaged?
Start a return with the retailer you bought from — it is the fastest route to a replacement. Then email us the order number so we can track the batch and figure out where it went wrong.
Warranty
Lifetime, and we mean the tool.
Every Kerf product is covered against defects in material and workmanship for as long as you own it. If a handle loosens, a weld fails or a board delaminates, we replace it.
What it does not cover: a chipped edge from cutting frozen food or bone, rust from a dishwasher cycle, or a board left soaking in the sink. Those are care problems, and we would rather tell you plainly than bury it in a policy page.
